An edventure or ed venture is the shortened term for an “educational adventure”, which is exactly what you’ll get from the South Carolina Edventure Children’s Museum.

It’s the biggest children’s museum in the South, with 92,000 square feet for kids and their families to explore. The museum also offers eight amazing galleries, including Body Works, Mission Imagination, the World of Work, Critter Garden, Aha Factory, the Great Outdoors, and My Backyard.

Last but not the least is Eddie, the forty-foot child-wonder of the museum. He has a durable molded and reinforced plastic body that kids and adults can climb all over. You can crawl into his heart, slide down Eddie’s intestines, and enjoy bouncing fun in his stomach. It’s an ed venture, isn’t it?
