The Exchange and Provost is a historic building in Charleston, South Carolina. It was built in 1767 as an ?Exchange or Custom House?. It is also known as the Old Exchange & Provost Dungeon, The Exchange, and as the Custom House and Half-Moon Battery. The site has become one of the ?must-see? areas in the city, and is even considered as one of the most historically significant structures in the country.

The Exchange and Provost is currently available as a tour site. It offers educational programs and visit packages on the site where the operators take visitors in all three levels in guided costumed tours. Each floor offers something new and historic, like the infamous Provost Dungeon that features animatronic figures that recount the tales of the colonial days and the pirates that come to visit the area.
