The Greenville Zoo is open seven days a week except for certain holidays during the year. Families wishing to dine at the zoo may go to the concession stand, located near the zoo’s Reptile House. The zoo also has a gift shop for those who wish to shop of souvenirs.

Fun family events are held regularly in the Greenville Zoo, including the annual celebrations of Boo in the Zoo during Halloween, Hot Dog Day in July, and the Sippin’ Safari fund-raiser, which is held annually on behalf of the BI-LO Charities. Family programs held at the zoo include Saturday Safaris, Bonkers for Birds, Eggstra Fun, and All Things Giraffe.

Those interested in renting the zoo may hold their children’s birthday parties at the site or rent its Zoomobile, which is available from September to March.
