Built in 1937, the Liberty Colored High School is a historic educational building in Liberty, South Carolina. It initially housed secondary schools for African-American students in the area, during the era of racial segregation.

The Liberty Colored High School’s history goes even before its 1937 construction. The site was used to be the location of a local Rosenwald school which burned down. As most would know, Rosenwald schools have always been designed to educate African American children. The building also served as an elementary and middle school for African Americans as well.

The Liberty Colored High School is currently being used as a community center. Folks can rent it for their events. It was also listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2003.
