Located in the City Market, the Market Hall is a really interesting area in downtown Charleston. Aside from being the perfect place to do some shopping, its historic significance, being the very site where people get their wares ever since is a really nice thing. It sold mostly local products, like plantation crops and farm produces.

The Market Hall and Sheds was declared a National Historic Landmark in 1973. That was also the same year when the Market All was dubbed as a building with the ?highest architectural design quality? by experts.
