The Museum of York County is museum located in Rock Hill, South Carolina. It was founded in 1950 through the community effort led by the Junior Welfare League. The main goal of its establishment was so children in the area could be provided with a cultural opportunity.

Originally known as the Children’s Nature Museum, the Museum of York County is best known for its natural history displays. It also has a lot of displays on cultural history and arts. It is also home to the Settlemyre Planetarium. However, the most captivating of the exhibits are still the taxidermy of various animals.

The Museum of York County is open most of the year (except during big holidays), from Mondays to Sundays, with varying schedules.
