Some folks call the town of Pendleton as antiquated. Amazingly, this is something most mean as a complement, especially since it refers to the ripening of the area into something beautiful and exquisite. If you’re an interested traveller, you can take a good look at the Pendleton Historic District and see it for yourself.

The Pendleton Historic District is mostly a commemoration of the state’s “earliest upcountry towns”. With Pendleton being established in 1790 and is still deemed as being “basically unchanged”, it can really be an excellent place to learn more about local history.

The Pendleton Historic District is composed of a series of buildings and sites in its 6300 acres of land dating back to the past centuries or so.
