Built around the year 1800, the Price’s Post Office, also known as the Price House, is a historic site in Woodruff, South Carolina. It was built for Thomas Price, an entrepreneur and landowner, who moved to the county of Spartanburg in 1793.

The Price’s Post Office was primarily used as a post office, which Price operated along with a general store. It was just a few yards away from his residential home.

Architecture-wise, the Price’s Post Office is special for being the only of its kind in South Carolina. Its gambrel roof was still unusual in the South around that time, giving it a very distinct look.

The Price’s Post Office was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1969. It is currently operated as a historic house museum by the Spartanburg County Historical Association.
