Located on the banks of the Reedy River is the Reedy River Falls Historic Park and Greenway. The site was established in the 1990s, although the site dates way earlier than that. It was in 1907 when the idea of developing a park in the area first came up, although the plans never took off due to the development of the area.

For a long time, the area around the current Reedy River Falls Historic Park and Greenway was used for industrial purposes. The area became polluted as the river was used to dump waste and trash. The pollution halted in the 1960s, though, and the land around it was donated by the owner so the park could be established.

Today, the Reedy River Falls Historic Park and Greenway is a favourite venue among locals. It is filled with stores and restaurants.
