The South Beach is located at the southernmost tip of the Hilton Head Island. However, there is no amenities in the site, making it something you should immediately consider if you’re just planning to swim. Being surrounded with rental properties, most folks who enjoy this beach are just a walking distance away from their cottages, so unless you’re one of them, you may need to look for a good way to solve such issues.

The great thing about South Beach is that aside from a swimming hole, it is a fascinating area in general. During high tide, there’s little to no beach at all, which is a real oddity. It is also a great place to watch dolphins and other wildlife.
