The newly opened South Carolina State Farmers Market possesses more than 2,500 feet of land that’s completely dedicated to showcasing the best of the state’s local produce and other products. At present, Phase 1 of its development includes an operational farmers’ shed and which is owned and managed by the state’ Department of Agriculture.

Visitors must drop by at the exhibition kitchen, which can comfortably hold up to 150 guests and the venue used for the market’s delightful array of cooking demonstrations. If you’re lucky, you can certainly have lots of free edible goodies and samples to take home.

Another important area of interest in the SC State Farmers Market is the outdoor amphitheatre, which can accommodate a maximum of 400 guests. Also worth your time are the specialty foods shops that sell the best of South Carolina’s local delicacies.
