Most communities celebrate Halloween with a little trick or treating. This is also the same case with the historic city of Beaufort, South Carolina. However, theirs is a relatively big event, especially since the rounds will be done around the historic neighborhoods of the city. The event is known as the Trick-or-Treat in Downtown Beaufort.

Like other local Halloween events, the Trick-or-Treat in Downtown Beaufort is a well-organized family event. Aside from closing up some streets around the neighborhood, there are also a couple of food specials for the kids as well. The regular Movie in the Park is also commonly cooked up to match the occasion by showing a movie that is appropriate with the Halloween celebrations and are ideal for small kids.
