Although the name could be quite misleading, the Corn Palace is a popular tourist destination. It is basically a multi-purpose facility that holds different events from time to time and is widely visited by tourists yearly.

What makes this building a hit attraction is its Moorish revival building, and the fact that the exterior gets redesigned yearly, and that the murals primarily use crop. The murals are usually based on a specific theme selected by the Corn Palace Festival Committee, and all the work is conducted by local artists. However, the mural hasn?t been changed since 2006, due to the severe drought experienced in the area.

Tours are commonly held during the summer months, although, the Corn Palace is open all year long and holds different events.
