The Moody County Museum features numerous displays that include the old Egan Post Office, dental office, a country store display, a Lutheran minister?s study, old fire engine, horse carriage, and many other area and pioneer pictures. Visitors who would like to research on their genealogical history can access the family files that are available.

It features the Riverbend Meeting House and the Chicago, Milwaukee, St. Paul and Pacific railroad depot that will take the visitors in the past. And learn more about the history and heritage of their area.

Aside from the displays, the Museum also serves as the monthly meeting place for the Moody County Historical Society and the Genealogical Society. Every fourth of July, the Museum hosts the Good Old Summertime Festival.
The Moody County Museum, housed in the 1871 first wood frame building in the county, is open from Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. Admission is free for everyone. Guided tours are available by appointment. Visitors can also check out the Museum store for gift items, memorabilia, and other souvenirs.
