While driving along Interstate 90 in Montrose, South Dakota, it?s not hard to miss the outdoor visual oddities that dot the South Dakota Drift Prairie. Scattered along this sprawling vast land are sculptures, both miniature and giant, all done by sculptor Wayne Porter. Many of these sculptures exhibit industrial art influence, as majority are made of scrap metals, found objects, railroad tie plates, and even old farm equipments. It is not sure when these sculptures were installed by the artist, but drivers and local onlookers enjoy the somewhat strange views offered by his artworks.

The sculptures include a blue dragon-like creature, a giant bug-man, gray metal heads, and yellow feminine body figures. The main highlight of this outdoor sculpture park is the 60-foot and 25-ton bull head, which took three years to complete.
