The Tri-State Museum is historical museum in Belle Fourche, South Dakota. It occupies a 4,000 square foot building and is owned and operated by the City of South Dakota.

The*Museum focuses on the old west history of the Tri-State region of Western South Dakota, Eastern Wyoming and Southeast Montana, including the area?s early pioneer and rodeo traditions. The museum?s collection features more than 5,000 artifacts, rodeo memorabilia, collectibles, antiques, historical records, fossils, and other*related objects. *More particularly, the collection includes the 1876 Johnny Spaulding Cabin,*early cattle raising artifacts, * Belle Fourche Roundup Rodeo artifacts, and many more.

In promoting and hosting many of its local activities, educational programs and special events, the Museum coordinates with the South Dakota State Historical Society, the Adam's Museum and local organizations like The Belle Fourche Historical Society, Golden Hills Antique Club, Questers, Lion's Club, Belle Fourche Chamber of Commerce, Northern Hills Retired*Teachers,*and others.

Featuring permanent and temporary exhibits, the Museum is open throughout the year. It also has a gift shop offering souvenirs and special items.
