The South Dakota tourism boards are particularly proud of this establishment, with its rich and poignant history about a hardworking couple that single-handedly brought hope to Wall SD with their optimism and perseverance.

Wall Drug was once an empty drug store in a languishing and morbid town. Now, it’s an incredibly popular 76,000 museum that houses a wide variety of attractions, including an animated T-Rex, a Branding Iron arcade, and a panning-mining adventure to hunt for gemstones and fossils. And if you come at the right time, you’ll even enjoy a train station water show!

For hungry travelers, there’s also a pizza parlor, gourmet coffee shop, and a picnic area to enjoy the nearby Badlands scenery.
