The Washington Pavilion of Arts and Science opened in 1999 and exhibit an art gallery, concert hall, large-format theater, and science museum in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. The Pavilion was a result of a renovation of Washington High School which was moved to the northeast side of the city.

The building's appearance is created from large blocks of Sioux Quartzite. Sioux Quartzite is a pinkish quartzite native to the area and seen at the falls of the Big Sioux River. A small portion of the north wing is constructed from black rock which was believed to be black quartzite but is actually corson diabase or liquid magma.

The Washington Pavilion of Arts and Science feature the Kirby Science Discover Center, a massive 3 stories, regional, hands on science experience. The Pavilion also houses two performing arts centers, which host a lot of several Broadway productions, operas and, dance and concert productions. The Visual Arts Center, that is also part of the Pavilion complex, hosts six galleries of changing exhibits, all free of charge. The Wells Fargo Cinedome is a multi format 60 feet dome theater which plays many different films every year. Virtually every space within the Pavilion is available for rent for important events like business functions, weddings, receptions and conventions.
