The WH Over Museum can be found right next the USD Dakota Dome which is situated within the University of South Dakota. Its name was taken from one of its pioneer directors who is William H. Over. All its exhibits include the various collections of history that tackle cultural and natural aspects of the place. Its main highlights include artifacts that are pioneer at Sioux, photographs and firearms.

Majority of the museum’s exhibits is overwhelmingly wealthy in land history. Right from the time it started, the museum has already collected and featured a lot of materials that tell of the history of the entire region and state. At present times, it has been also putting on display a lot of items that would capture interest of various visitors.
