The Algood Branch Library is unique in its own right. It is open from Mondays to Thursdays only and closed every Friday, Saturday and Sunday. They have a catalog that can also be accessed online by simply typing in the titles, keyword, or name of the author of the books or other items you are trying to search. They have a total of three branch libraries which include also Baxter and Monterey. Their services include the most common ones that are being offered by any common library.

Their storytime service is meant for the kids that are in the preschool level. They believe that to start literary programs at an early age is much better to initiate the passion for reading in the next generation. They also have stories to go that feature unique storytellers each and every time. This is very interesting not just for the little kids but also for some adults. To keep up with the demands of the modern technology, they also offer free computer training that even adults can take part of.
