Beale Street Music Festival brings musical fun to the city of Memphis, Tennessee. Taking place every first weekend of May, this three day long extravaganza of nonstop musical performances draw many attendees from all over the states. The festival has acquired the title "Mardi Gras of the mid-south" due to the party-like atmosphere it gives it's participants. Four stages are set up, giving room to 50+ performers yearly.
