The historic Cannonsburg Village captures the essence of old villages in the 1830s until the 1930s in Tennessee. It is a reconstructed village that shows a century of way of living and work of the people living in that era. Located on Front Street just behind Sticks and Stuff on Broad Street, the village is open on Tuesdays through Saturdays from 9am to 4pm, additionally it is open during Sundays 1 until 4pm.

Although closed from December until April every year, the village is still a great way to share history to tourists as well as youngsters. Inside the village visitors will see different settings and buildings during those times. The village grounds have a schoolhouse, telephone operator house, gristmill, University House, blacksmith shop, general store, homes of the people who lived in that era and other important village buildings.

The village further promotes school tours from Tuesday to Fridays with a small fee. The tour will last for about 1.5 hours, visiting some of the most important sites in the reconstructed village.
