The Harpeth River State Park is a state park and recreation area in Kingston Springs, Tennessee. It is known for its unique linear shape and its culturally and naturally rich location.
Located along and named after the Harpeth River, the Harpeth River State Park contains the National Historic Landmark, Montgomery Tunnel and the Narrows of the Harpeth, an incised meander in the aforementioned river. The site is also home to the archaeological sites Mound Bottom and Mace Bluff, the Newsom?s Mill Historic Site and the Gossett Tract State Natural Area.
Boating is the most popular outdoor activity at the Harpeth River State Park, aside, of course, from wandering and learning more about the historic areas contained within the state park.
