The Nashville Convention Center is a state-of-the-art conventions and meetings facility built in downtown Nashville, Tennessee. Launched in January 31st in 1987, it offers an 118,000-square-foot (and more) exhibit space, an 11,000 square feet ballroom, 25 meeting rooms, and a 40,000 square feet lobby. It is perfect for large events and can easily be decorated with its wide spaces, high ceilings, and flexible halls that can be divided into 3 areas with individual entrances each. In terms of communication technology, the Nashville Convention Center is equipped with fiber optic lines, web access, video conferencing facilities, and teleconferencing. Outside the facility, guests can enjoy the city with its nearby hotels such as the Renaissance Hotel, museums including the Country Music Hall of Fame, dining places, bars, entertainment centers and sports venues. In fact, the center has an underground footpath and rooftop link to the Gaylord Entertainment Center where one can spot home games of the NHL Predators.
