The Nathan Bedford Forrest State Park is a state park and recreation area in Eva, Tennessee. It is located on the western shore of the Kentucky Lake, which is an impoundment of the Tennessee River.

Created in 1929, the Nathan Bedford Forrest State Park is named after Nathan Bedford Forrest, a Confederate General during the American Civil War. Forrest is deemed as one of the greatest military tacticians and leaders during the Civil War and he had operations mostly concentrated in and around the state park’s area. This is why the site is also quite historic as well.

The Nathan Bedford Forrest State Park also contains the Pilot Knob, which is one of the highest points in West Tennessee. It is also home to the Tennessee River Folklife Center.
