According to one saying, ?great things start from small beginnings?, which is why it shouldn?t be too surprising that something that seems so simple as the Sun Studio was able to launch big rock and roll, blues, country, and rockabilly stars of the 20th century. Big names like Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Roy Orbison, Jerry Lee Lewis, BB King, Junior Parker, Little Milton, and many artists recorded in this music studio in the 1950s.

The original location in Union Avenue, Memphis, Tennessee is now opened as a tourist attraction and a recording label. Many new musicians and artists in the trade have visited the site, including Ringo Starr, Def Leppard, Bonnie Raitt, and even the band U2. Sun Studio was declared as a National Historic Landmark in 2003.
