The Virgin Falls State Park is a state park and natural area in Sparta, Tennessee. It is also known as the Virgin Falls Pocket Wilderness Area.

Sometimes described as the crown jewel of Scott?s Gulf, the Virgin Falls State Park features the Virgin Falls, which is a waterfall created by an underground stream that emerges from a cave, drops 110 feet and then disappears into another cave. The site has many unique geological features and several other waterfalls, making it quite a popular attraction.

Located adjacent to the Bridgestone Firestone Centennial Wilderness, the Virgin Falls State Park is very popular among hikers. Sadly, the caves at the park are temporarily closed until further notice due to the occurrence of bats with white nose syndrome.
