This museum is dedicated to collection, preservation and exhibition of genuine artifacts and gadgets made and used during the 20th century. It opened on July 2005 in an unlikely venue ? the former Wharton County Jail.

The museum is popular for its comprehensive collections depicting the innovations in communications, manufacturing, music, entertainment, home, and agriculture. The museum?s collections are notable as majority of these are in perfect working condition, which gives the visitors an interactive experience during their visit.

The museum?s major displays include small items such as radios, early jukebox, televisions, typewriters, primitive computers and electronics, cameras, home appliances, and farm equipments. The museum also has bigger items on display, such as an ?ornithopter? and Rutan VariEze, early aircrafts which are displayed at the museum?s entrance.
