The Amarillo Botanical Garden is made up of two acres of land that is one part of the Medical Center Park. It has a green house and a certain part of the garden that is full of fragrance. The administration of the gardens wishes to carry out a mission that serves the community by an interactive presentation of plants and the natural environment. It creates a one of a kind adventure that imparts beneficial knowledge especially for the younger generation.

The garden also hold gardening classes for those interested and opens some parts of the facility up for rent. They have programs that are all pro-environment and they welcome volunteers and sponsors to help push through with their environmental programs.
