A private institution dedicated to contemporary art, the Artcar Museum is dedicated to contemporary art that the general public rarely acknowledge. The museum is an exhibition forum for local, national and international artists to give everyone awareness of the different varieties of art. Also knows as ?Garage Mahal? it was found by artist and long-time supporter of the Art Car movement Anne Harithas and former director of the Corcoran Museum in Washington, D.C. James Harithas the museum was opened to the public in February of 1998.

The ArtCar Museum displays the most diverse, elaborately and skillfully made cars, low riders, motorcycles and mobile contraptions that will surely leave you with pondering questions on how these were even thought of being made. The museum also offers music lovers and photographers something to be amazed on with their different events and exhibits showing arts made by musicians and stunning photography by world class photographers. Throughout the year the museum is host to many spectacular events which showcases not only car art but also beautifully crafted paintings from renowned artists from around the globe. The museum is open from Wednesday to Sundays from 11am to 6pm.
