The Bosque Memorial Museum is dedicated to protecting and preserving the historic and prehistoric resources of Bosque for the purpose of education, usage, economic benefit, and enjoyment of the citizens of Bosque.

The Museum is a local and non-profit corporation that was formed in 1954.

It houses a wide variety of exhibits. While the Indian collection focuses on rocks, fossils, and Indian artifacts, the Norwegian Room, displays items that are brought by emigrant families. These include numerous portage trunks. The Museums also has a large collection of dolls, some of which are very old. In this exhibit, there are also vignettes that depict a Victorian parlor, a blacksmith shop, an old post office, and a turn-of-the-century wood stove kitchen. The other exhibits are the Firearm Collection, the Norwegian Book Collection, Texas Primitive Furniture, Photographic Archive, Textile Collection, Early Education Collection and the Early Medical Collection.
