The Buddy Holly Center is a historical site located in Lubbock City, Texas. The site works to preserve, collect and promote the history of Buddy Holly as well as the music of Lubbock and West Texas. Moreover, aside from working on its exhibits for music, the museum also features contemporary art. The purpose of the museum is not only to entertain, but to also share the rich legacy of music through arts.

Most of the exhibits, programs and shows reflect the diverse and rich cultural characteristics of the city of Lubbock. Additionally, the museum presents the interactive shows between the artists and the community. One of the famous collections displayed is about Buddy Holly a known Lubbock native and famous musician. They also feature a number of other famous artists and musicians from Western Texas.

The Buddy Holly Center is housed in a former railroad depot for Lubbock City. It is the first building to be designated as a historic center in Lubbock. The Buddy Holly gallery, to further display its interest in music shaped its gallery just like a guitar. Visitors to the museum will learn a lot about the history of music in the area.
