The Houston Children?s Museum looks really engaging and childlike. It was designed by famous architect Robert Venturi. The museum is a very colorful and whimsical place that children and the child at heart would enjoy. It offers a variety of engaging exhibitions that encourage the children to have fun but at the same time learn as well. The museum was established in 1980 by a group of parent in Houston who believed that the development of every child should not only be inside the homes but should also be a community-wide priority.

The Houston Children?s Museum is known to serve more than 850,000 people every year . The museum offers a range of action-packed exhibits that children will love. There are 14 galleries of regular exhibits in the museum. There are workshops that focus on bilingual learning programs such as Spanish and English. There are more workshops in literacy, science, math, health, engineering, civic engagement, culture and social studies. These activities are apart from the regular exhibits and special exhibits in the museum.
