In one of the most important areas of downtown Houston stands the JP Morgan Chase Tower. This tower is known as the tallest compound building in the world. Its different facets make it interesting to look at. The office tower is prominently gray, with polished granite, stainless steel, and glass. At the western side of the tower, you can see an 85-foot wide glass that goes up the same height as the building. The tower occupies more or less an acre of a plaza, creating a large public space. That?s why it has a lot of room for patterned embellishment, landscaping, water garden, Bradford Pear trees, and sculptures.

The exterior of JPMorgan Chase Tower is only a part of the story. Because inside it are more surprises. The tower actually has two lobbies. One is in front of the entrance, and the other is 60 floors above. This sky lobby acts as a transfer point for persons travelling to the upper floors. The view on this lobby is enhanced through the use of wide glass spans and thirteen-foot ceilings.
