There may be lots of other natural bridge attractions in the country, but the Natural Bridge Caverns can surely compete with them without a fuss. Being the largest commercial cavern in the state, it offers a lot of activities and wonders to visitors.

The Natural Bridge Caverns was discovered in 1960 by a group of students from the St. Mary’s University. They’ve informed the landowners about the natural structure in the area, and the owner, Mrs. Clara Wuest became interested in showing it to the world.

After a couple of years of developing and shaping the caverns into something more accessible, the Natural Bridge Caverns opened to the public in 1964. It is still run and operated by the original owners’ family members today.
