The Natural Bridge Wildlife Ranch is a 160 hectare safari park found in San Antonio Texas. It is an animal sanctuary and wildlife preserve and an affiliate member of the AZA or Association of Zoos and Aquariums.
There are 500 animals animals representing different ecosystems with different temperaments. The main attraction for this Natural Bridge Wildlife ranch is the park's safari tours around the 400 preservation grounds for kids and adults.
Among the 500 different animals that can be spotted with the Natural Bridge Wildlife Ranch safari tours, there are a total of 40 different species of birds and mammals with the exception of big cats and other predatory creatures. Tourists should also note that there are no elephants in the park.
Some of the animals that can be seen by tourists and local Texans includes wildebeest, gazelles, zebras, emu, llama, Watusi cattle, aoudad, fallow deer and gemsbok. Other less popular animals that can be spotted in the Natural Bridge Wildlife Ranch includes the greater kudu, blue bull, addax, elk, scimitar horned oryx.
The animals that can be seen in this New Braunfels based park are also placed into three different pastures. These pastures are all spacious enough for these animals to roam around and wander as well as graze peacefully all throughout the day while the safari tours are ongoing.
Tourists and visitors who have called it a day when it comes to seeing all the sights that the Natural Bridge Wildlife has to offer can go and find other things to do inside the park aside from taking the safari tour. After a day or an afternoon with the animals inside the zoo, visitors can relax and have a good meal with the Safari Camp Grill. The Grill offers great dishes from hamburgers to fries and even their specialty, the Zebra a la Mode.
Another local tourist attraction that is located near the Natural Bridge Wildlife Ranch is the Natural Bridge Caverns.
