Splashtown San Antonio is a water park resort that is based in San Antonio, Texas. It started in 1985 under the name Water Park USA. This 25 year old theme park has gone through several owners as well as name changes over the years at the same time braving the various hurricanes that has hit Texas.

The water park features a machine generated wave pool which contains over half-a-million gallons of water. The water park is also known for several other features including 40 waters slides and tube rides.

Splashtown San Antonio is conveniently located and is in the center of everything when in San Antonio. The water park is just 3 minutes away from downtown San Antonio and can be accessed mainly through the main roads.

General admission rates for visitors for Splashtown San Antonio are as follows: Adults are charged $29.99 at the gates while children are charged at $21.99. Visitors who would like to get their tickets online may do so at more affordable rates at just $22.99 for adults and $19.99 for children below 48”. For larger groups who would like to enter the park, the charge per person changes from @29.99 to just $17.99. For people who plan on subsequent return trips, Splashtown San Antonio has a special Season Pass of $49.99 for both children and adults with a $10 deduction for groups of 4 or more who would also get the season pass.

Splashtown San Antonio also offers lockers for rent with a fee of $10 with $4 refundable upon returning the key.

Splashtown San Antonio’s attraction include “The Luge” which is over 7 stories with two different water slide routes and can accommodate 3 people in one water bobsled. It also features “The Wedgie” which is a five waterslide ride with a surprise twist at the end and “The Serpentines” a unique water slide attraction with twists and turns like that of a snake.
