The Health Museum, Houston's interactive science learning center, holds exhibits that are not only entertaining but also educational. These exhibits include the "Amazing Body Pavilion" where kids can tour the human body and learn in details the type of organs and bones. Kids can also sit down on the exhibit's giant teeth and even have a bicycle ride with a skeleton. A McGovern 4D Theater is also available for a journey in an alien landscape by watching the latest 3D movie.

Part of The Health Museum's offering is its lineup of educational programs. For teens, programs like the Siege of the Skeletons are available. Teens are able to creatively participate in reusing and dressing up a skeleton. Scout and Home School programs are also offered by the museum with different hands-on courses. Programs are also offered not just for teens but for families as well like the Family Science Workshops that allows the whole family to do hands-on learning opportunities. Also part of it is the Discovery Camp Program offered year-round.

The Health Museum's list of services includes the Challenge Gallery, a venue where guests can check their reflexes and stimulate their intellectual capacity. Mind-boggling activities like Mindball are able to test the participants' brain waves. Along with this are Brain Teasers that give away hands-on problem solving matters. It also consists of 20 games that would challenge the whole family in solving number games and tackling puzzles. A Sensory Garden is also available to guests to experience the scent of the flowers and hear the birds chirping.

Group reservations at The Health Museum are open for families so they can experience an educational tour. Membership opportunities are also for anyone?s taking to enjoy more of the museum?s service. Families can avail of its Free Family Thursday Hours from 2 to 5 pm.
