The Vintage Flying Museum was founded by Doc Hospers around 1990 to house a B-17, pictured, but after he died in March 2010 his wife immediately sold this plane, so it is NOT THERE. The B-25 pictured was sold in 2013 and is NOT THERE. The museum website lists 17 airplanes, but many are in the rafters, gathering dust in the North Hangar, or will never fly again. The CAF had an A-26 here, but it broke down in Midland in 2013.

Admission fees vary according to the visitor being an adult or a kid. A small gift shop sells some books and knickknacks.

This museum was the site of an alleged massive fraud and the actual theft of more than 70 valuable airplane parts, that is the subject of a lawsuit filed October 14, 2013, against tenant Jim Terry.
