Austin's most loved park located at Located at 2100 Barton Springs Road, is home to a variety of recreation opportunities and special events for the individual or the whole family.
The 360 acre park was developed during the Great Depression in the 1930s and was a gift to the city from Andrew Jackson Zilker.
It hosts many annual events, and is home to many attractions.
There is a train that goes through Zilker park, and it is also home to the Umlauf Sculpture Gardens.
Close by is the Austin Botanical Gardens.
