If Colorado has the Grand Canyon, then Utah has the Canyonlands National Park, a 530-sq mile park containing countless canyons, valleys, stone arches, spires, buttes and other rock formations. This great park, majority of its areas remaining untouched and unvisited, is a testament to the beauty of the state of Utah and the American Northwest.

For millions of years, the Colorado and Green rivers have been carving up the lands inside the park, creating magnificent stone structures and ecological systems. The park is divided into three distinct sections ? The Needles, The Maze, and Island in the Sky. Because of the park?s tricky geography and wilderness, much of the park remains undeveloped. As a result, there are few paved roads or visitor centers. This makes the park an instant favorite among thrillseekers, outdoor adventurers and extreme sportsmen.
