Try to come up with a picture of Utah in your mind and you?ll think lots of mountains and other natural wonders, right? But there?s more to Utah than that. At the city of Price, for instance, you?ll find one of the best prehistoric museums in Utah, with expansive collections for paleontology and archaeology.

There are only four other museums in Utah that has been accredited like the College of Eastern Utah Prehistoric Museum. Rare exhibits in the museum include the Utahraptor, which had been discovered in the 1990?s, and legendary Fremont Culture artworks such as the Pilling Figurines.

Although you can certainly tour the museum on your own, you can also join a general guided tour (be sure to make advanced reservations if you have your own group) or schedule for a professional tour, which would have any of the museum?s professionals, like the Bone Lab Manager or Archaeologist, to lead your tour.
