The Treehouse Children?s Museum opened in 1992. It has been housed in the Elizabeth Stewart Treehouse Museum since 2006. It is a hands-on museum that focuses on literature and arts for children. It features many exhibits as well as award-winning daily programs. The Museum serves as a place for children and families to enjoy and learn while being interactive.

The Museum is viewed by over 120,000 visitors each year and that already includes the 26,000 children who get to participate in its activities. This has made the Treehouse Museum a favorite resource for family literacy fun in Utah.

Among the Museum?s collections are the Bertha Minnoch and Margaret Lloyd Doll Collections, the Native Peoples Natural History Collection, and the Cleone Eccles World Doll Collection.
