The Bennington Museum has a huge collection of art works made by a folk artist named as Grandma Moses. It is also where you can find the Grandma Moses Schoolhouse where the artist attended school as well when she was a child. It is where you can find a big collection of artifacts and tools intended for military and historical use.

You can also find lots of art pieces, furniture, toys, dolls and many more inside the museum. It was started by the Bennington Historical Association way back in 1852 to celebrate for the colonial past of the Bennington place. It is also to pay tribute to the historical war battle of Bennington in 1777. Their mission is to preserve the remains of this history through the museum.
