A unique inn featuring its very own museum, astronomy observatory and an antique telescope fitted with a unique equatorial drive system. Additionally there are other adventures within the area such as a secret tunnel system that was constructed by Hartness to allow access to the observatory, museum and his secret workshop for telescope making.

The tunnel was built in 1912, during that time Hartness additionally built an underground complex with rooms. The complex has 10 rooms to allow Hartness privacy when he wanted to work with his hobby. Because of his passion for invention, Hartness was granted 119 patents for many of his unique inventions.

Today guests of the inn, as well as tourists can tour the secret underground tunnel, visit the different workshops, and enjoy a view of the skies at the observatory and the telescope. Guided tours however are limited only to the guests of the Inn and by private invitation of the owners. Moreover, the museum holds an extensive exhibit of Hartness work including photos and his former telescopes.
