The Jay Peak Aerial Tramway offers access to the peaks of the Green Mountains. However, due to the height of the summit and the great climb the tramway reaches, it has also become a tourist attraction in itself as well.

The Jay Peak Aerial Tramway is actually the only ride of its sort in all of Vermont. It climbs 4000 feet up the summit of Jay Peak, which totals to a 10 minute ride. While on the tramway, riders can see the Provence of Quebec and up to four states worth of land.

Aside from the ride, visitors can also enjoy skiing and snowboarding in the site. During the summer, the area is an excellent backpacking place, although, special safety measures are enforced.
