If you are familiar with Rudyard Kipling, this is the place where he stayed and finished one of his masterpieces which is Captains Courageous. The person who lived in Naulakha and now known as Kipling?s house is the first Nobel Prize winner for Literature. Most of his masterpieces are done as he is staying in his house which is now known to be one of the historical landmarks in Vermont. Naulakha, which is a Shingle type of home, was recognized as a national historic landmark since 1993. Nowadays, they allowed people to rent the house that ranges to amount of $275-475 for a night.

This place is widely known because the first literature winner for Nobel Prize is made in here. If you are interested going in here you can actually check it out and you will enjoy other adventures not just feeling the good ambiance of the place. There are now tennis courts and other sports that you can actually do while staying in Naulakha. There are also festivals celebrated in this place.
