The New England Maple Museum sits on the heart of Maple Country, in the foothills of the Green Mountains, the place where the finest maple syrup of Vermont was made.

The Museum takes its visitors on a journey of more than 200 years of maple sugaring history that starts with the Native American discovery of maple sap producing sweet syrup when cooked over an open fire. A visit to the Museum is not just educational, it appeals to all ages. Its collection of sugaring artifacts is the most complete as it includes a modern plastic pipeline as well as an ancient block of wood that collects gash made by American Indians.

Of course, the Museum lets you bring the experience back home since you can buy all grades of syrups and other mouth-watering maple products in the Gift Shop.
