Opened in 2002, the Vermont Ski Museum upholds its motto, ?Collect, Preserve, and Celebrate?, with its extensive collection of artefacts related to the history and evolution of skiing. The museum?s exhibits are divided into seven categories: Ski Clothing, Ski Equipment, Mechanical Equipment, 10th Mountain Division, Vermont Ski Area and Items, Fine Art, and Library and Archival Materials.

The Vermont Ski Museum is housed in the old Town Hall of the village. Built in 1818, the town hall is now part of the National Register of Historic Places.

In its 10th Mountain Division exhibit, the museum? had indicted over 250 members of the division in recognition of its contribution to the history of Vermont skiing. Inductees of the museum?s Hall of Fame include three categories: athletes, pioneers, and special contributors.
