The Vermont Veteran?s Militia Museum and Library is striving to preserve our state?s proud military heritage since it was founded in the 1970?s. The museum and library has grown its collection from a few items into a large facility and grounds home to a lot of one-of-a-kind items and collections including authentic vehicles, tanks and several aircrafts.

Moving and recycling the old buildings of the museum and remodeling them into a first-class exhibit space were done through the efforts of dedicated volunteers. The museum is open to the public and for special events for private groups interested in learning or promoting our military history.

The Museum is home to a variety of authentic vehicles and Vermont militia uniforms going back to the 18th century, Civil War, World War one and two, Vietnam, Korea and Desert Storm artifacts for everyone to see and learn from. All of these wonderful artifacts were preserved through the efforts of a small group of dedicated volunteers and are still in need of volunteers to help make the museum grow more to exhibit the country?s military history.
